Hi I'm looking to take my family single pitch climbing around the tremadog area, slightly concerned that pant ifan upper tier may be a bit hard for them as they are beginners any other suggestions for suitable single pitch climbing locations?

There's stuff on Moel y Gest Moel-y-Gest A bit slabbier than Tremadog, check the link for the grades. It's a nice spot on a ridge looking out over the sea.

Thanks looks like a good option.

Bit further away, but the Moelwyns have lots of good single pitch VDiff's (you can walk off from the top of several first pitches of multi pitch routes). Crag very close to the access road up to the reservoir, so easy walk in.

Moelwyns is a good call, lovely climbing.

There's also this crag further towards Betwys: Craig Y Tonnau that looks very nice in the photos.
