was mooching for half ropes and came across these. thought they were a real bargain so wanted to share here:

with the newsletter signup it comes to ~£100 for a pair of half ropes delivered. not bad IMO!

Is it a big sacrifice not having a dry-treated rope? I'd mostly be using it for trad climbing in the summer/fall and I just don't see where having a dry rope is that necessary. It's not like I'll be climbing out in the rain

my mammut pheonix 8mm superdry have lasted for years on granite, not fluffy hardly at all and keeps clean, and for ice you need superdry.
