Clare and I are working in Jersey for the next two weeks. We want to get some climbing in, but only have one whole day off, which we'll probably spend on the Pinnacle. Other than that, only a few hours at a time here and there. What crags would people recommend for a couple of hours climbing? Quick to get to from St Helier, short walk in, easy to find? Thanks.

Ask on their forum at http://www.jerseyclimbs.com/ and their two facebook groups - Jersey climbing community, Jersey rock climbing club. Dangle Dell is a bit easier and quicker to get to than the Pinnacle I think, but there are crags on the south coast that would be a shorter drive from St.Helier. Considering that they're Jersey people they're very nice and helpful over there .

Thanks. Yes, I noticed that was on. Sadly, we have to get straight back. We may well be in Guernsey early next year, though, for another concert tour with the same organisation, and fit in our very own miniature Guernsey climbing festival! Perhaps you can show us around a few unfamiliar crags - like you showed us Gull Zawn a few years back
