Hi all,

Got a few days off end of September / Start of October so looking for a short trip somewhere. I know some DWS have been developed e.g. Cala Moraig around Costa Blanca but are there any more recent developments?? This may sway the decision on where to go.

Thanks!

I don't know if you have already checked them out but the Orange House provide some deep water solo topos/guides by pdf.

I'm pretty sure that is what we used when we went just over a year back. Did some good DWS near Sierra de Toix.

Thanks - I've got the topo for Cala moraig but not ambolo - think you need to pay for this? I mean has anything new come about say in the last year or two? I reckon it will only be max 2-3 days DWS so I reckon there will be enough but still would be nice to know what's available there to make a decision

Pretty sure the topos were free on pdf, just had to email the Orange House for a password through the website, we then had plenty to go at. I'm not sure about any very recent new developments I'm afraid, but the guys from there would be in the know. Hopefully someone else has been out there more recently and would be able to point you in the right direction.

I have just come back from Croatia though and there is an up to date DWS guide on sale for there for around $10 online. Plenty of routes in some amazing locations and the Adriatic sea is pretty warm and friendly, it would be my recommendation! The DWS film Depth Charge helps to showcase some of the possibilities https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdTtq-rrIsM.

Thanks for the mention! Dont think anyone has asked us anything yet though!

http://theorangehouse.co.uk/mini-guides

we have 11 mini guides on the website all free, all we ask is that you register for a password as you correctly pointed out! This we might scrap but its nice to see how many people do download the guides so we know if they are worth producing etc etc...

Rich would be the one to ask about the new developments, our main week start on the 6th September, so not long now. Thats when most new stuff gets done and people put up new projects etc.

Facebook is the best place to get instant information about what get climbed.
