Glaciers: A sad reminder from the past....

This is sad on many levels. The retreat of Alpine glaciers together with the subsequent release of artifacts and remains of the brave souls who have gone before us.

Hmm..I know what u mean about sad yet I always think it's kind of right, mountaineers going out like that. The sister holding Jonathon Conville's hand after 30 years...maybe I'm getting old.

Objects have been 'popping' out of the bottoms of Glaciers for years.

An entire World War II bomber emerged from one in Iceland 20 years ago.
