With the clocks about to change and the weathermen forecasting a cold winter ahead, I've completed an inventory of my own kit to find I have a lot that I could do without....
Not everything is winter-orientated, so it's worth giving the full post a scan.
I've sold things on UKC many times before without a problem. I prefer to take payment via bank transfer or Paypal gift, and will arrange postage at cost to the buyer depending on their preference for speed/insurance.
I have posted individual photos for each item on a flickr account here:

For item specifics and to arrange a purchase, a direct email through the forums is the best bet.
Below I have listed, and briefly described, each item:
Scarpa Phantom Guide. Size 42. £280
Used for a couple of days in Scotland before opting for the warmer 6000 equivalent. A lot of folk have no problems using these in Scotland and the Alps.
Black Diamond Quadrant Ski mountaineering boots. Size 27. £250
Used for one ski season before upgrading to a more ski-orientated boot. These are generally considered to be quite a wide-fitting boot. (As a guide, Scarpa boots fit me well but the narrower La Sportiva boots do not).
Evolv Pontas II Velcro. Size 6.5. £45
Bought on the advice that sizing was smaller than the velcro equivalent, but these are too small for me and I've never been able to wear them
Evolv Pontas Lace. Size 7. £35
Bought assuming the sizing was the same as the velcros but seem a bit narrower. Very lightly used.
Evolv Pontas Velcro. Size 8. £30
Bought as an all-day comfort shoe, but a bit too small. Lightly used.
Grivel G14 cramp-o-matic (steel front-bale). £95
Used, but with plenty of life left in them. Sold with FREE Grivel crampon bag.
Julbo Explorer Cameleon Glasses. £60
Top of the range glacier glasses with polarised cat 2-4 lenses, sold with protective case.
Julbo Revolution Ski Goggles: £75
Sold with protective case, Zebra cat 2-4 polarised lenses.
Berghaus Expedition 100L Rucksack: £50
Used a while back for South American mountaineering. Looks new, may be of use to someone doing something similar
Black Diamond Epic 35L Avalung Ski Pack: £85
Very well-designed ski-touring pack with designated compartments for probe, shovel and skins. Carries weight excellently, and is easy to ski with, due to pivot system on the back. Only selling as I now have the mountaineering equivalent.
Crux AK47 Rucksack. £50
Well-used but could be useful to someone. Simple, durable and lightweight.
Black Diamond 22cm Turbo Express Ice Screw. £30
Never used
Grivel bungee leash £7.50
Patagonia Piton Hybrid Hoody. Size M. Red. £75

Patagonia Capilene 4 1/4 Zip Hoddy. Size S. Blue. £65
Mistakenly bought in the wrong size. Never worn, still has tags.
Icebreaker Pursuit LS 1/2 Zip 260 Base Layer. Size L. Red. £65
Heavyweight base-layer, ideal for winter. Hardly worn.
Mt.Hardwear Desna Hoody. Size M. Blue. £55
Full-zip hooded fleece with zippered pockets. Good condition.
Moon Cypher Pants. Size L (34” waist). Sand. £30
Brand new with tags.
Prana Stretch Zion Pants. Size M. £35
Used but still in decent condition.
Rab Microlight Alpine Down Jacket – Twilight. Size M. £100
Marmot Expedition Mitts. £50
Extremely warm mitts ideal designed for high-altitude use but great for Scottish/Alpine winter climbing
