Climbing in the 'stans

I'm looking to start planning a trip to one of the 'Stan countries in a few years, potentially something unclimbed. Can anyone point me in the direction of some good books or resources to get my research going?

Well, A Short Walk in the Hindu Kish by Eric Newby is the classic. I wouldn't rely on it for logistics but it's strong on atmosphere.
