I want to get a thermal, and add an image and a slogan to it.

Anyone know where you can do this?

I've found a couple of US-based sites but nothing UK. Also wasn't sure of the quality of the thermals they use - would like something good quality, Helly Hansenesque.

Thanks!

Why not just buy a top and then take it to a print shop? They will be able to transfer print to it.

That never occurred to me, mainly because I've never heard of that service before...

Beware that anything print won't be breathable - a big logo on your chest will make you sweaty.

A company I used to work for got some Lowe Alpine Dry Flow t-shirts printed up. I suspect they bought a job lot direct from Lowe's suppliers and then got a print shop to do the work, rather than Lowe actually printing them.

Depends on the transfer method. A dye sublimation printing won't create an impermeable layer.

Plenty of services for this sort of thing for cycling gear, although, admittedly, probably starting with a white base fabric. But they can print any colour scheme you want.

e.g. to take one a group of us have used recently:

A better result might be achieved with a sewn logo
Daughters have had riding jackets made up with horse pictures and names
There will be someone relatively local who can do
