I'm thinking of a club Sport Climbing trip to Sicily, and like the sound of San Vito lo Capo area. We've climbed in Cala Gonone, Sardinia for years, but I'm liking the sound of Sicily....
Has anyone got any experience to offer, advice, especially recommendations for accommodation (could be 10-12 of us). Thanks in advance. Paul

Daniele at the climbing House in San Vito has apartments with group facilities which might be good for a club, double rooms with a communal area I´m led to believe. He speaks English http://www.ymcaclimbingsanvito.it/en/contacts/
Alternatively just some bungalows or mobile homes at El Bahira, that´s where we normally stay. A lot depends on exactly how "clubbable" your members are and how many want double rooms, single rooms etc etc.

Went there spring this year. Stayed in a villa with 8 people in San Vito

5 min drive to most crags and walking distance to bars and restaurants.
