Hi all, can anyone recommend any maps of the Cordillera Blanca area?

I took the ones produced by the Austrian Alpine Club - there's two sheets to cover the North and South of the range. They're nicely drawn and I have no complaints, but we barely needed them on the ground.

Just buy 'em out there - Cafe Andino in Huaraz is the best place.

If its any help I recently found free Garmin GPS contour maps to download for the whole of S.America which I just used in Chile and were very accurate, at least there. http://www.gps.com.ar/foro/downloads.php?do=file&id=8 I printed sheets from Garmin BaseCamp on my PC of the areas I wanted.
