Equip Outdoor Technologies UK Ltd, based in Alfreton, Derbyshire, is a vibrant privately owned business that designs and produces a range of specialist outdoor clothing and equipment under the Rab and Lowe Alpine brands.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Social Media Coordinator to join a creative Rab Marketing team to be involved with all web based content and brand output on social media.

Job Responsibilities

• Actively engage, manage and grow all forms of Social Media to create and coordinate compelling online content
• Support marketing activity in the UK and guide International offices.
• Execute intensive content marketing using our website, social networking tools and sites, with support from Graphic Design & Production artist, PR Co-ordinator and Brand Creative Coordinator.
• Co-ordinate and plan the writing of online copy for articles, blogs and social media.
• Coordinate social media activity with fabric supplier brands.
• To work flexibly and carry out additional roles within the Marketing department

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

The successful applicant will have:

• A Marketing, Communications or related qualification.
• Two or more years’ experience of working in digital marketing/social media
• Familiarity with SEO-driven copy and able to integrate keywords as necessary.
• The ability to write lively and engaging copy.
• Excellent attention to detail, grammar, writing, proofreading, copywriting and editing skills.
• Competency in using Twitter, Facebook, other social media tools and Microsoft Office.
• Strong planning, organisational skills and able to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent team working and relationship building skills.
• Passionate about the outdoors and ideally a regular climber
