French cycle holiday reccomendations
Hi all, something of a change of holiday objective in the offing !
MrsD has suggested going on a week or so's organised cycling holiday in France. Portage between hotels/gites and meals etc. The remit is that cycling has to be at the right level (she is about at the level of doing a flatlands 100mile sportive at maybe 22kph to 24kph and she has done a few moderately hilly rides in the Lakes, Wales and SE France). A lot of tours appear somewhat too easy and a lot a bit too hair shirt.
Anyone got any first hand experience of organised tours and who might be good to go with ?

You could try getting in touch with Enty of this parish. He runs a cycle tour business in Provence and might be able to give you a steer. I've not seen him around for a while mind. VeloVentoux.com is him IIRC
