As in the title - I've used up my previous bag of replacement trigger wires, and I'm struggling to find anyone who isn't out of stock in them?

if you mean the old friends and you fail to get any then a repair with knotted plastic strimmer cord or fishing line can be made that never seems to need replacing and works fine (my oldest such repair is probably well over a decade old now). Burn the knots to seal them in place.

Cool, I did try using garden wire before and it failed miserably, must not have been heavy duty enough!

plastic strimmer cord is fine and never needs replacing again. Any rigid wire will eventually snap again IMO and cable will fray.
