I am trying to put a standard go pro suction pad on my new meteor 4 helmet, but as their is a ridge down the middle of the helmet cant find a good way to attach it, anyone else have this issue, anyone found a good solution?
Thanks

Can you offset it to the side slightly and use a ball joint mount to correct the camera angle tilt?

I use duct tape for just about anything I need to attach my gopro to.

For everything else, I use my gimbal.

My advice would be not to, because you'll look like a muppet and helmet footage is terrible.

Although if you insist, you can use the "Vented Helmet Strap Mount", which has the advantage of being less likely to be knocked off by flying lumps of ice/rock.

Just spotted this gimbal on Amazon. I have a hand held version and have to say that it's an awesome bit of kit giving smooth and stable footage.

Worth considering.
