Can anyone recommend where I can get fully kitted out? In Birmingham but don't mind traveling an hour or so to visit a good retail store.

There's a good shop just off Festive Road.

True, but is the OP indoor climbing, or outdoor? Bouldering, sport, trad? Does he just want a new outfit to look cool or to potentially function as suitable dress for climbing but also walking or even lounging...

Yes I see that, thanks for the info, see all those little icons above, there is more to UKC than climbing and as already pointed out, "kitted out" could range from a chalk bag and a pair of shoes to a list as long as your arm........

Depends what you are after fella, If you pop down to dick's in bristol and ask to see some of their black kit, all surplus special forces kit. (You get a blacked out eye mask too so you look the part in photos- very spec ops)
You could be in luck, failing that, i believe needle sports sells kit joblots for under £99 such a good deal I couldn't afford not to get two!

We The Climbers Shop, now in Milton keynes, would be good

Then pop into Big Rock before heading home

There maybe closer shops but i don't know them

I genuinely think the advice is good, based on 2 visits. Well it hasn't been open long

Frankly its worth a trip to Keswick to Needlesports. You can then get out on the hill and try it all out.
