Whats the cheapest/best campsite to stay at in Verdon? Any one in particular that all the climber folk stay at??

It was Les Bourbons at La Palud. Not been there for years, a Google review suggests it's closed for good.

Sadly the main one just west of La Palud seems to have closed down, as we discovered last year when we arrived with our tent. However there's a decent municipal campsite going east out of La Palud that's cheap, spacious and with good facilities and, most importantly, within walking distance of the brilliant pizza van in the village.

Most folks seemed to be staying at the municipal campsite when we were there a couple weeks ago. As someone has said already, looked pretty spacious and easy walking distance to the cafe/pub and pizza van.
