Paklenica easy routes - grade confusion

Paklenica GorgeGyps Fulvus (6b+)

This climb is grade 2 on UKC but description is 160m, 4 pitches. 5c, 5a, 6b+, 5a

Zimski Cvijet is also grade 2 with description 210m, 7 pitches. 5a, 5c, 6a+, 6a+, 4b, 6a, 5b

Am I missing something? Grade 2 should be very, very easy!

Those routes are certainly not grade 2.

They would probably be something like UIAA grade 6 or 6+ if that is any help.

My guidebook (2009 edition) states:

Gyps Fulvus 6b+ (5c, 5a, 6b+, 5a)
Zimski cvijet 6a+ (5a, 5c, 6a+, 6a+, 4b, 6a, 5b)

It has been a few years since I climbed those routes but above grades feel about right, speaking from the memory.
BTW: Water Song (6a+) is IMO by far the best route in that area (Veliki Cuk).

I have been to Paklenica in April and found grades a bit softer compared to Portland. But more or less accurate and consistent.

There's a route left to Water Song (6a+) called Sjeverno Rebro (4a). It's way more exposed and goes on arete for few pitches. Despite being easier I found it more enjoyable.

I don't think Paklenica hosts any 2 grade climbs at all. Lowest is 3 grade in 2013 guidebook.

Presumably it's a mistake. If you choose Edit Climb to let the moderator know then they'll probably correct it.

Having just done Sjeverno Rebro a couple of days ago I recommended it, bit harder than the grade I'd think.

To be fair grade varies from source to source. SummitPost thinks it's 4b+
