Hi, a mate and I are heading to Chamonix next week for a 10 day trip, hoping to do some snow, ice, and mixed routes such as Chere couloir, N Face of the Tour Ronde, Forbes Arete, Kuffner Ridge and similar. Does anyone know what the conditions are like on any of these routes at the moment? Is there too much snow for routes such as the Kuffner or the Frendo Spur? And what sort of condition are ice routes in at the moment?

Any advice would be great!

Bear in mind the only lifts open will be the Midi and the Mer de Glace train.
