Hi,

I want to try some deep water soloing and am wondering how you get to the bottom of a route to start the climb?

Thanks

Buy a guidebook.

Or go with someone who owns one, or has seen one, or doesn't need one.

Yup, guide book will tell you.

Basically you have a choice-
Downclimb
Traverse
Abseil
Swim
Boat

Usually a mix to some degree

It depends where you are climbing. If you buy a guidebook it will tell you in there how to get to the base of specific routes.

You really do need to know what your doing and where your going for dws. Get a guide book and a mate to go with.
