Trying to find information about the easiest way up the petit dru, not much out there on the interweb, a few trip reports but no itineraries or topos, any help would be great thanks.

Absolutely no personal knowledge of this but the route you link seems to be on the Grand Dru.
There is however another normal route on the Petit Dru, graded D- on C2C: http://www.camptocamp.org/routes/55691/fr/petit-dru-arete-sw-voie-normale

Sure the traverse is the easiest route up the Petit, climbed this in 2013.
The Guardian of the Charpoua hut should be able to point you in the right direction, he traverses it every year I think & rebuilds the cairns....
Also has a topo for the descent in the hut.

Well yes - but that's because the 'Traverse' takes the Voie Normale up the Petit Dru, then the linking 'Z-Pitch' to the Grand Dru, then finishes by descending from the Grand to the glacier by abseiling and down-climbing.

So the OP is asking for info on the Voie Normale up the Petit Dru.

I have done all this stuff but too long ago to remember any of it; however the description in the AC guidebook worked okay for me.
