Looking at a trip somewhere in November/early December. Does anyone know of any relatively reliable ice climbing destinations in Europe at that time of year?

I'm aware that the best time to do would be Late January - February, but if there is anything that tends to be good much earlier in the season it would be great to find out about it!

In reply to JackM92: For sure Abisko, most probably Stora Sjöfallet. Both in northern Sweden, fly to Kiruna. There's a annual ice meet in Abisko, usually around mid november. I'm going this year. Not spectacularly steep or long routes but perfect gentle start to kick off the season. (The days are short this time of year so plenty of time for sauna and beer) Sjöfallet has longer routes but in at least november I guess they are somewhat on the thin side, in feb-march they are ultra-fat.
