I'm looking to do some Sport climbing at the weekend with my kids. Can anyone recommend and crag/venue. I live in South Cumbria so Settle isn't that far away. Grads to suit my 8 and 10 yr old would be good.

An obvious but annoying question, what grades are your children comfortable climbing?

Emilio.
In reply to Radarbailey:

Giggleswick North: Easy walk in, short routes and easy grades. The Last Fish Supper (5c) & Stumpy (5c) could be suitable?

Castleberg, crag park in settle and walk 10 mins.

I guess 4 and 5. The youngest is better and will do 6 +.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Castleberg is OK but do take care re. loose rock. I was there cleaning up 2 weeks ago and removed a lot of loose stuff from routes 3-5 (the worst of the loose routes at the crag), route #4 is still a bit loose but the routes either side of it are reasonably sound in comparison - #5 is actually quite good now. That's not any sort of guarantee of course. Giggleswick South has some easy stuff too, but again the very easiest stuff can be a bit loose.
