Canadian Climbing Insurance
Hi,
I recently moved to Vancouver as a student for an exchange year and am planning on doing a bit more mountaineering and generally more backcountry climbing. My university insurance policy as well as the BC medical insurance plan covers me in climbing up to 15m but above that I am no longer covered. Does anyone have any recommendations on an annual insurance policy that will get me shipped off the mountain and fixed up if all goes wrong but not at an extraordinary cost.

i think the alpine club of canada has a policy for residents. its a very well organised club and well worth joining for a year.
