Velcro ices up easily and risks losing an axe. Much better made with loop of 4-5mm elastic cord and a cord-lock (if you make a closed elastic loop that can stretch over the end of the axe - then just use the cord lock to tighten the elastic provides a failsafe if the lock fails).
Hi thanks for the offer, Mammut have finally gotten back in touch with me after a ....MONTH AND A HALF...they are saying the have no sapre parts for the bag, I'm asking them to see if they have any from other models of bag I can get.
