We are going to Ticino area in September to boulder from South Korea. And we are looking for gyms that rent out bouldering pads and good accommodations nearby. We are arriving in Malpensa Airport and going to rent a car there. Any gyms/shops are on the way up to Swiss would be easier to access. Any recommendation?

First tip, call it Switzerland, not Swiss.

If you struggle to rent pads, you could find a Decathlon shop and buy one, they tend to be pretty good value and you could probably sell it on at the end of your trip.

Lots of folk seem to call it 'Swiss' these days, it's a pretty common abbreviation.

Edit: ... in the bouldering fraternity that is!

And lots of Swiss people find it intensely irritating!

I'm sure they do but the OP's probably not asking 'lots of Swiss people' here on UKC.

For the record: I don't call it Swiss either.
