I need a replacement for my Rab summit down jacket.

Is there a shop in/near Bristol that has a selection?

Alpkit and Ellis Brigham both have stores in the Whiteladies Rd part of town (Clifton direction), just a few hundred yards apart. They'd be my first point of call.

There's a Cotswold & a Blacks in the City centre and a GO Outdoors at Cribbs Causeway.
 

Taunton Leisure has good stuff!

Banana Fingers or Dicks. Used both, recommended.

I'll second Taunton Leisure - It's good to support the smaller independants.

However, I'l also mention Snow and Rock at Filton.

I last went into Snow and Rock to look at climbing swag, it was very depressing. 

+1 for Taunton Leisure.

The Patagonia shop on Park street also has an outlet upstairs which sometimes has decent stuff in.

Seems there are loads more shops than I thought. Thanks everyone.

Their climbing section is pretty small, but their winter clothing set up is pretty good. 

"Snow and Rock" is an anagram of "Down on Racks"
