Technical Apparel Designer
RAB mountaineering and climbing apparel is rated amongst some of the finest outdoor equipment available. A vacancy now exists for a full time technical clothing designer to join our team and help us continue the tradition of making mountain apparel for some of the most extreme conditions in the world.
Based at our head office in Alfreton, just fifteen minutes from the Peak National Park, the person we are looking for will have a sound knowledge of functional design as well as an understanding of modern, technical fabrics.
The candidate for this job will need to demonstrate that they are aware of current outdoor trends and manufacturing techniques as well as being able to design and produce their own patterns for specialist garments. Skilled in CAD techniques the person should also be familiar with Microsoft Office, Photoshop, etc.
Specific duties will include:
Participation or an interest in outdoor pursuits would be a distinct advantage.
