Want to try out Mammut kit before you buy? Mammut's first UK Touch & Feel product testing event on the 3rd and 4th April at Stanage could be for you.
The brand, which is also bringing its Alpine Climbing Team to Sheffield that month to shoot its annual iconic promotional film, is a huge fan of the trad climbing offered in the area.
Mammut's Touch & Feel event will invite members of the public to try out Mammut gear on the climbing routes in and around the area. And if that all goes successfully you might want to check out The Square in Hathersage which will offer visitors the opportunity to buy a range of Mammut product. Look out for the giant inflatable Mammoth that has been drafted in from Switzerland.
For the last five years Mammut has staged a promotional filming stint featuring their sponsored climbers such as David Lama. This year the brand has been drawn by the unique trad climbing available in the Peak District. Previous destinations include Thailand, Malaysia, Kirghistan and Vienna.
Mammut's Test & Feel event will take place over the Easter weekend on the 3rd and 4th April at Stanage Edge.
