Rock Over Climbing is only 13 days away from opening!!! - With the 'SUMMER ROCK FEST' on Saturday 5th June. It will be a celebration of climbing, including a bouldering comp with a £2000 prize fund.
Rock Over Climbing, the country's most eagerly anticipated new climbing centre is having its official opening in the heart of Manchester on Saturday 5th June 2010.
To celebrate this momentous event we shall be hosting the SUMMER ROCK FEST!
The Summer Rock Fest is a celebration of all things climbing and will feature:
- An open bouldering competition with a £2000 cash prize fund
- The Rock Over Mega Problem
- Spot prizes...
- ...Such as coaching from Gaz Parry or Dan Varian
- ... Bouldering mats
- ... Finger boards
- ... DVDs
- There'll also be a prize draw
- And boot demos
- Cakes!
- Great Music from DJ Bongo, dreamscape entertainment and special guests
- A free beer and food in the evening
- ...And much much more!
Routes for the comp are being set by Ian Vickers and Jamie Cassidy, and the finals will be held on the Entre Prises Competition Wall.
It's going to be a great day, with a mix of the very best climbers in the country lined up alongside you and me. As well as the cash prizes, there are also spot prizes that anyone can win, these prizes include coaching from Gaz Parry, Dan Varian, bouldering mats, finger boards, DVDs and so much more... So come on down and join in the festival.
