Job Opportunities at Urbanrock, Reading Climbing Centre
Urbanrock will be opening a new specialist climbing shop at Reading Climbing Centre when it opens in September. We will be working closely with the centre to help develop it into one of the best Climbing Centres in the UK.
We are looking for dedicated staff who are active climbers with a keen interest in climbing gear and have the ability to genuinely
converse with our customers.
We have the following positions available;
This will be a key role within Urbanrock and will suit someone with previous retail experience within the outdoor trade. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to running of the store and sales staff. The role will require close liaison with the Reading Climbing Centre Management team on a day-to-day basis to help maintain excellent standards of customer service throughout Urbanrock and Reading Climbing Centre.
Assistant Store Manager
This role will require the successful applicant to work alongside the store Manager and be responsible for the Store in the manager's absence.
An interest in climbing equipment is essential as is the ability to meet our customers needs both in terms of the products they are looking for and the level of customer service we provide. We have 1 full time position available and one part time position. The part time position will be mainly Weekend and evening work with the possibility of covering holiday periods when staff are away.
