The BMC is seeking a specialist officer to develop our work for climbing walls, clubs, volunteers and young people in the London area. The post will focus on the 14-25 year old age group and will encompass all aspects of climbing and hill walking.
This exciting and challenging position will complement the BMC's wider work programmes and other Sport England funded work. The Officer will be the 'face' of the BMC in the South East. He/she will promote the BMC's work and services, support climbing wall operators and the transition to outdoor climbing and promote opportunities for club membership.
The initial appointment will be a 1 year fixed term contract with possible extension to 2017, subject to Sport England funding. The post holder will be self-motivated, flexible and willing to work weekends and evenings as required.
