The BMC is a dynamic and growing sports representative body based in Manchester. We are looking for an individual to support our IT & Database Co-ordinator and Web Manager in all aspects of our web and computer network, including maintenance and development. Candidates need to enjoy working in an informal and busy atmosphere as the BMC expands to meet the needs of our diverse membership.
Responsibilities include user support for hardware and software issues; maintenance of the office email system; providing support to staff including IT needs, training and equipment; providing system upgrades as required; 1st and 2nd line desktop, server and network support, including monitoring systems and troubleshooting as required; preparing material for the BMC website Content Management System.
An interest in climbing, hill walking or mountaineering would be useful but is not essential.
