Base Jump Touring Pants
These double weave ski touring pants have been updated for the coming season. They're designed for ski touring but are just as popular with winter climbers and walkers. Outside, the schoeller® 3x DRY fabric is water resistant and there are reinforced on the inside of the lower leg. New coldblack® technology offers UV protection to prevent overheating on warmer days. Inside, there's brushed lining and integrated gaiters.
NEW – Kala Patar Tech Jacket
As soon as it arrived we reckoned the Kala Patar Tech Jacket would become a really popular midlayer piece. To borrow a phrase it's a jacket of two halves. The outside is hard wearing yet quick drying and inside the warm 'waffle' lining retains heat. Elastic panels allow the body to move easily and prevent bulk around the hips where you'd wear a harness or padded hip belt. Weighs in at only 400g.
NEW - Marangun Jacket
'A new breed of mountaineering clothing' is what we were told about the Marangun Jacket. We're not sure what that means but this extremely light – 630g – mountaineering jacket does look the business. It combines a water repellent outer with warmth - inspired by Ajungilak's sleeping bag technology, XTI Element uses two-phase technology to transport excess heat and moisture away from the body during active phases and then works to keep you warm during rest. A fixed hood, sealed seams, drawcord hem and spray proof zip keep the weather out and there are underarm pit zips for warmer days.
Miva Hooded Jacket
Just the jacket for those crisp, cold mornings or chilly belay ledges. This womens jacket with fixed hood is filled with goose down and has 750 cuin fill power. With a Pertex outer it's water resistant and the drawcord hem can be adjusted with one hand.
Oh did we mention our coffee? We reckon we make the best in Snowdonia and we'll happily brew up for you – and we promise we won't write your name on the mug.
V12 – The Old Baptist Chapel, Llanberis, Gwynedd, LL55 4EN.
