We have been making unique chalk bags for over a year, each one has it’s own identity so you can choose, just like your friends, who will keep you company in your times of need!
Now we are also making bouldering mats to the same formula based on our standard Phud, Mujo and Project pads. The new Mutant mats are all one off productions and they are quite simply amazing! They have inherited the same specs as the base models, apart from the Phud which has truly mutated to gain the same super tough fabric as the other two models. So you can be assured of their quality and safety, while the factory team have free reign to choose which colours they want.
Made by climbers for climbers here at our HQ factory outside Nottingham, every detail of the mats are considered. Whether that's the large taco style of the top end Project, the innovative closure of the Mujo, or the Phud that optimises size and affordability to make the perfect introductory or secondary pad. The same foam is used across all models and is simply the best you can get. All pads are available as standard works models as well, but the new bespoke Mutant mats take them to another level in style.
We do not keep any records of the Mutants we make, so although each one is made individually we cannot guarantee that 5 years down the line there will not be a duplicate mutation.. however unlikely that may be.
