With over 200 routes of top rope and lead climbing on 83 lines, walls ranging from 7 to 14 metres, a 4.5 m overhanging lead wall, 5 auto belays, two boulder caves, a training room and an abseil tower there is something for climbers of all abilities at the Quay. Routes range from grade 3, set with the very youngest climbers in mind, to 8a/8b for the most experienced climbers. Routes are changed regularly and we host a series of competitions and climbing leagues throughout the year. Our mezzanine level has stunning views of the climbing arena, free wifi and serves coffee, homemade cakes and a daily menu of hot dishes, pizzas and paninis. The centre has an onsite treatment room for use by freelance physiotherapists and sports massage therapists. We are also home to Europe's first Clip n Climb centre - a stunning arena of 26 themed climbs designed to attract climbers from 4 upwards. We are located in the heart of Exeter's up and coming Quayside area - a space fast becoming the centre of outdoor activities in the city with kayak hire, bike hire, the new Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre and plenty of gear shops. We are easily accessible on foot, by bike and by car and are just a 10 minute walk from the cathedral and city centre area.
