Found there to be plenty of gear. Enjoyable route, although i did get a lttle swallowed by the crack, and at one point wondered if i would leave my leg behind in it.

found the move around the bulge rather puzzling/ hard, sweaty hands were slipping in the heat, solved it by a classic knee-jam in the end (laybacking hurts less than jamming until you fall off). would say that protection is more than adquate on the entire climb (contrary to what the guidebook says)

Zigzag Flake Crack 20mts VS 4b 2star The crux involves (the book says) ‘A strangely straight awkward flake, not too well protected…..’ It was, it was and it was! Getting past the problem meant me going above my gear and stepping out onto (in a hugging position) the rounded bit of the flake, then a huge struggle come wobble come flail & scrabble saw me up onto the next bit of the thing! Then up another 2-3mts before gaining a ledge to get some gear in – phew! Then there was a vertical (but protectable) wall to climb to finish – yikes what a route! Lost some more skin there….again!

I've got this climb as Robin Hood Flake Crack in the BMC guide, but the line I drew in the GB matches this route as shown in the RF GB. I finished this route rightwards. The first ascent I did on this route I finished to the left at the top of the flake.
