250m. This route gives access to all of the North Buttress routes. Gain the ramp at its lowest point. Pass a couple of steeper steps until below the chimney of Prometheus. Zigzag across the loose slabs above to reach the terrace below the Final Tower. The terrace leads horizontally to the shoulder of Sgumain. Winter: I ** A good line amongst very impressive scenery with a couple of icy steps. It often gives a better approach to Sgurr Sgumain than the Sgumain Stone Shoot.
