An amazing voyage. The climbing is sustained, powerful, and absolutely brilliant. Climb up into the starting cave, situated right above the edge of the shingle (it's easy to wade in, with towel and rock shoes on your head). Get your boots on, swing out of the cave, and traverse at that same level, to reach a hard move passing a hanging boss (massive jug awaiting). Continue on until a diagonal flake-crack is reached. Climb up this for 2m and continue traversing, to gain the top entrance of an amazing through-cave/tunnel. Drop down the tunnel for a well-earned rest, and then fall out of the bottom of the tunnel, swing through the low cave to a bridge rest, then attack the hanging terrain to the right, via a very hard move to gain a finger jug. The remaining 17m is about 6a+, with brilliant, steady climbing at the same level, on big holds. Finish on the arete; you can either swim out or walk around the top path. © ROCKFAX
