25m. An adventurous pitch, which is quite intimidating for the grade. Start 5 metres right of Strappados, at a peg and nut belay. Step right from the belay and climb a crack back leftwards and up past a tree stump (runner) to a break under an impressive chimney. Enter the chimney using a crack and jugs on the right (giant crusty thread deep in chimney). Pull over a bulge, and climb a crack, thread, until a difficult move must be made to exit to ledges. Giant thread belay with cable strop. Abseil off.

Seconded M's lead. Adventurous path from the top to gain access which adds to the experience. Nice route in the shade with only a little road noise. *

What a route! Steep, technical and bomb proof gear all the way. Plus a kamikaze pigeon!!

A good addition to the Avon VS's. Sadly the chimney does not require anything too devious

A VS that I haven't climbed at avon?! Brilliant climbing with an adventurous feel. That chimney is cool. Well worth a star.
