led line over on the R. side of face III quite interesting.
nickcanute - Lead - 19/Dec/10 with andy lewandowski (seriously! yes i know it was cold!)
Climbed two lines - one about 20ft right of the gully, which had several tricky steep sections but with mostly bomber turf; and one another 20-30ft right of that, which was easier. Not that much snow on the face, mostly well frozen turf.

led a line about 20ft right of gully with some nice steep moves on good turf (about III/IV) and seconded Pete up another line about 30ft right again at III. on the left hand line some pillocks had scratched into the rock "S+D Nov 2010" Know who did this? i wonder if it is the "simon and dean" who have logged a photo of this route dated 29/11/10

Turf was quite unfrozen and unconsolidated. But enjoyable for my first mixed route!

lots of snow, and wading through gorse... went out to the right due to chossyness and the attraction of nice looking snow...it wasnt in the end.

First known ski descent. Quite a lot of wind slab, quite a lot of rocks but great coming over the cornice onto that little face :)
adi bryant - 06/Jan/10
Climbed at 11pm in the dark, great fun and very exploratory as no clear line. Turf frozen solid. Harder than gully which was very tracked out.
Somerset swede basher - Lead O/S - 04/Jan/10 with Ben Ranson
Good nick! Never gets the sun, still frozen hard at midday. Decent gear too, unlike Mam tor...
Adam Long - 2nd - 21/Dec/09 with Ben Bransby
2 lines 1) Up centre of face this time - and
2) another line up grooves and corners a few metres right of the gully - quite good - (IV).

Short handy route (afterwards wander up Mam Tor gully in thawing conditions).
