Very long approach after a heavy snowfall. Very nice two final pitches.

Quite thin, but in. A few mixed moves here and there when the ice was less than a metre wide and 10cm thick... Finished off with half price chicken wings and a pint of Pale Ale in MBC - good day!

Martin fell on lead on our second pitch, high above the glacier; he fell when his waist was about three metres above a 16cm screw, which held! He just bashed his side, neither crampon caught. A good result! Both his leashless axes were left in the ice above. Which added an interesting psychological edge to the rest of the climb!
