Good consolation after being repulsed from Gillercombe Buttress which was still soaking after the summers rain. It's possible to run pitches 2&3 and 5&6 together. Crux (p4) is hard but well protected.

In 4 pitches. C led 1+2 and 5, I led 3+4 and 6. A great route, only guidebook pitch 5 lacked interest, the rest was continuously fine. C took Black Wall direct on 2nd instead of traversing. Some of the rock looked suspicious but it all turned out to be sound, presumably the loose bits have all disappeared over the years.

A lovely venue for a sunny summer evening as it gets the sun until sunset. On first pitch don't be tempted into the groove. Quite exposed on arete on second pitch. Black Wall traverse requires commitment - its all there when you get out there (pitch 4) and gear as well. Look out for loose holds.
