This Little Piggy...** 6a
[The main wall (we couldn't find it...), 2 kb]190m, 4 pitches. This route is to be found on the slabby buttress in the cwm left of les Perrons, Below and left of the Breche des Perrons. It takes the middle of the buttress. Equipped ground up, roped solo in September 2008. (Misspelt in Piola's topo as Miss little Piggy.)

P1,3,4. Lovely route, nearly worth it for the last pitch alone. 3 pitches of slabs with the first two feeling spaced out (always safe though). Followed the piolat guide and took us a very long time to find the route, note that it's in the same coire as the pilons.

First ascent. This was almost a year after having a serious accident (and subsequent helicopter descent to Chamonix) when a HUGE flake (4m x 2m x 30cm!) almost amputated my foot while bolting the last pitch roped solo. In addition to permanent nerve damage, it crushed a toe - hence the name of the route.
