|11m. 11m. There's no low traverse to gain this line, access is by abseiling in from the huge thread in the goat's alcove, or by boat. Gain the HWM at the base of the route, in the big alcove. Climb up and left along the intimidating ramp/undercut feature, to finally sprint (past an in-situ thread) on good pockets, up to the traverse line. Finish more easily. © ROCKFAX|
DWS F6b and S0. Now recommended as a hard downclimb to link the two halves of Rainbow Bridge into a safer and more sustained DWS. It is easier to access as a downclimb than climbing it as a base up DWS which involves an abseil down to a very worn threaded tape on Into the Fire. Fom here you enter the deep groove on the left and undercut your way out to the headwall where strenuous pocket pulling awaits.
