Awesome, once on the arete the position is insane, one of the best I have been in on a grit crag, superb exposure. Pretty mucky in places but a cracking adventure!

Great route, shame I got midged to death in the face while I was belaying. If ever a crag needed a good dose of napalm it's Guisecliff!

I led on Jamie's gear pausing long enough that i 'could have placed some gear' as we didn't have much time but both wanted to lead it. Absolutely brilliant - if you discount the initial chimney as soon as you start traversing right onto the rib the moves are ace and the finishing rib absolutely brilliant! What a position to be in! Started to rain shortly after Jamie had seconded so just in the nic of time.
