The large, gully-riven expanse of the face North of the summit ribs features several iced slabs, gullies, and icefalls. This climb is located directly right of a deep, steep gully and is the rightmost of the icefalls on the open face. The prominent mass of ice, about 40m in height, is divided into two shorter tiers. The upper tier is a fat, impressive cascade of ice that may be turned on the left by a slightly easier line (III,4 if taken). If the lower cascade only is climbed, the route is grade III.
