Central Gully then traversed at the ice step onto the rib. Snow cover very thin on the rib, turf solid though.

Enjoyable route. In reasonable condition. We went up Central Gully to underneath the main difficulties of Central Gully and then traversed right onto the route. Turf was frozen, however the snow had only fallen the night before and was prone to slabbing off the ground.
