DWS S1. A high crux but safe water. Watch your fingers on the sharp flake that sits at the bottom of the final corner. Approach by traversing from the left and climb on good holds to finish climbing the left hand side of the bridge.

First go this year. Fell off far too many times last year. After hitting the bottom from the crux last year i wasn't keen to fall off the topout so abbed the finish up the bridge and cleaned some of the loosest bits and broken glass. Left the rope in situ to help on the loose section up the bridge. Despite this definitely *** in my book

Fell off the crux a few times but hit the bottom on my last go. Right hand pinged off and the pressure from my r leg sent me leftwards a bit, and wonder if I hit the visible boulder, but can't quite believe I went that far left. Just a couple of grazes. 1hr 20 mins post 3.8m tide.
