Off route on first pitch - there is a deceptive sling on a chock in a chimney about 40m up but we should have gone right lower. Had to ab to get back on route. After P6's sensational traverse the next pitch is great too - the flake to go for is high up, not obvious and the way looks improbable but all the holds are there. A superb trip.

Wet pitches, loose rock and tricky route finding. Good mountaineering with great isolation and positions. Will have to return for Gob.

After a night at the bothy. Alt leads, he did P1. First few pitches a bit damp and route finding slightly awkward. Nearly took a good swing when hold broke off!! Don't worry it's not a crucial one! Crux is more the wet red corner, not sure where book gets wellprotected from... From crux pitch on it's clean, dry and great. Need to go back for Gob.

a great adventure. Led the botanic pitch 2, the amazing traverse on 6 and the penultimate pitch. Sensational climbing but found route finding tricky esp at the start

Without doubt the best mountain route I've done in the UK. Led pitches 3,5,8 & 9. Pitch 1 was awkward and intimidating, pitch 2 had more climbing on steep grass and heather than rock, but after that the rock was mostly immaculate. Route finding is tricky on pitch 3 - the pitch finishes left of the starting belay. Great climbing in a spectacular setting.

Vegetated start, pitch 3 felt bold and quite hard. Best pitches the overhang and traverse. Amazing weather, great views... Golden Eagle!

Walked in then did this in the evening. Apart from the first two pitches it's superb! I thought p3 was very bold and committing for VS. Also the crux is the wet red groove not the pitch (5) above it which is probably only 4b or so. The next to last pitch is also a bit naughty if you are expecting 4a!
