[Tiptoe through the Tulips (IV) & Brighton Rock (IV), Saltdean, 2 kb]60m. Take note of the barrier at the top of the route before attempting as it is steep and commiting. Belay platform is around 10-15m below the top on the left wall.

Climbed in two pitches, belaying at a platform a short distance from the top. Nothing too challenging until the top barrier. This was fairly short but overhanging and bold given that I didn't have a huge amount of confidence in my gear. I think the average grade IV climber would have a desperate time topping out on this route.

Top lead by Lee, last 10-15ft was bold and overhanging. Much harder than many 'sport chalk routes' hereabouts. I'm glad I refused invitation to lead!
